Pauline Kernick LSSNU
Spiritual Medium and Healer
Pauline has been involved in spiritualism since she was five years old and attended services with her parents and aunt. She would be the first to admit that it was the lure of chocolate biscuits after the service that initially motivated her! But the seed was sown, and she later trained as a Healer and exponent of Spiritualism utilising her natural gifts of Clairvoyance, Clairsentience and Clairaudience.
Pauline’s abilities and popularity has made her highly sought after in several countries, resulting in invitations to work in the UK, Holland, Malta and the United States of America on numerous occasions. She has also appeared on Television, Radio Stations and has had many articles published in magazines and newspapers.
Pauline has been continuously training to advanced levels for over 30 years at the prestigious Arthur Finlay College in Stansted, UK, in a multitude of disciplines.
She has been a Member of the Spiritualist National Union for over 45 years and a Class B member since March 1992 and was awarded the prestigious Long Service Award in May 2006 for activities deemed to have been beneficial to the Union for over 25 years.
She is also an Honorary Member of Totton Church.
She has held many positions throughout the Southern District Council of the SNU from cleaner right up to Regional Training Officer and with support and commitment from a team of colleagues she was instrumental in advancing many potential Mediums. She was also appointed Public Relation Officer at the same time and being keen to encourage a wider spectrum of interest and support within local Churches of the SDC she relaunched The Southern District Council Magazine.
Her training under such excellent Mediums as Gordon Higginson, Minister Jean Bassett, Minister Simone Key, Glynn Edwards, Paul Jacobs, Val Williams, Colin Bates and Brenda Lawrence have stood her in good stead for her continuing commitment and responsibilities to Spiritualism. Pauline happily reflects on the learning curves she has experienced during the many times she has studied at the Arthur Finlay College, the ongoing refurbishment of the beautiful house over the past 30 years, the many friends she has met, late night discussions in the “Green Room” and the continued excitement and enthusiasm when she enters the door for another week of study and tuition.
In 1998, Pauline felt the need for change and after much soul searching she decided to move to the Costa Blanca; continuing with her spiritual work by taking services at the Baker Foundation and Torrevieja Self Awareness and Healing Fellowship. The four hour journey to support both of these institutions inspired her to open a church closer to home. Together with fellow founder members they were able to open the Alfaz de Pi Spiritualist Church in the Forum Mare Nostrum and the first church service was held on December 14th 2003. The church is still growing and provides development workshops, healing sessions, an excellent library and public demonstrations of clairvoyance. The Alfaz Spiritual Foundation was formed to enable the church to achieve Charitable Status. (Link: Alfaz Spiritual Foundation)
Over the past 40 years Pauline has seen an increase in the understanding of spiritual matters, with more and more people realising that we have a degree of psychic awareness, which we can put to use if we choose to do so.
Through her own life experiences within the Spiritualist movement Pauline is committed to encourage us all to find purpose and moral strength to make or enhance the world in which we live a happy and more tranquil existence.
